Overview

Sherelle has dedicated over 20 years of her practice to civil litigation, defending major insurers and corporations in a wide variety of industries including retail, restaurants, product manufacturers, distributors, international businesses, and medical professionals. Her practice area includes personal injury and wrongful death, automobile and trucking claims, premises liability and negligent security, insurance coverage and bad faith, medical and professional malpractice, product liability, and contract disputes. Sherelle was recently retained by a student athlete to negotiate the terms of an name, image, and likeness (“NIL”) contract, which is a growing area of law allowing college athletes to earn money in business ventures in exchange for using them to promote businesses, products, or services.

Sherelle has first chair trial experience and defended notable transportation and negligent security cases that received national media coverage, including 20/20. Sherelle often jokes that if a case has any hint of crazy or uniqueness, it seems to find her. Sherelle believes "The Gambler" best describes the practice of law - "You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run…"

When she is not still in awe of becoming a first-generation lawyer, Sherelle enjoys cooking, traveling, interior decorating, and helping her daughter manage her charity which helps kids in foster care. Sherelle is married to her college sweetheart, who played football at LSU, and they have three children together. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
