Overview
Our firm’s reinsurance practice advises clients on specialized issues arising out of ceded and assumed reinsurance. We have experience in drafting agreements between insurers and reinsurers, representing parties in reinsurance arbitrations, negotiating and drafting commutation agreements, and negotiating and drafting assumption and novation agreements. We also provided advice to domestic insurers regarding their reinsurance agreements. We have also worked with reinsurers in evaluating their reinsurance exposures.
