Overview

Ms. Kao is a trial attorney with nearly 20 years of litigation experience. She has substantial experience representing clients in both state and federal courts across Texas. Her practice has included first party insurance coverage and defense of bad faith litigation related to commercial and residential insurance policies, complex commercial disputes, personal injury, wrongful death, and trucking litigation. Ms. Kao has also managed extensive electronic discovery issues for institutional clients.

Ms. Kao has been married to her husband, Peter, for over 20 years. They have two teenage daughters who are actively involved in school and extracurricular activities including band and competitive cheer. Their house is completed with bevy of various animals (garnering it the name “K-O Corral”) including a chinchilla, guinea pigs, cats, fish, and a Goldendoodle, and they have been known to welcome some of the schools’ animals over breaks.
