Overview

Andrew Schulz is the head of the firm’s Austin office and is a Central Texas Trial attorney with twenty years of legal experience representing clients in tort and commercial disputes.  His practice focuses on the evaluation and resolution of matters involving third-party tort claims, construction and coverage disputes, claims handling, UM/UIM matters and other issues of legal interest to insurers conducting business in Texas. In particular, Andrew enjoys being hired “pre suit” to conduct and lead investigations into complex tort cases resulting in serious and often fatal injuries and involving multiple layers of insurance coverage.  Likewise, Andrew has defended clients involved in catastrophic personal injury suits and other personal injury claims involving truck accidents, slip and falls, machine accidents, oil and gas rig accidents, fires and explosions as well as construction defect claims. Over the past several years Andrew’s practice has focused on the evaluation of Stowers claims and their impact on cases and the retention of sophisticated experts to opine on issues relevant to time-limit demands in an effort to resolve cases early and efficiently.
