Overview

Andrew Schulz was the youngest equity partner in firm history and leads the firm’s Austin office, bringing more than 20 years of trial experience to clients across Texas. A seasoned litigator, Andrew has built a strong reputation for handling complex tort and commercial disputes, representing businesses and professionals in high-exposure matters with precision and confidence.

He is deeply committed to mentoring emerging professionals and investing in the next generation of legal talent—enhancing value for both his clients and the firm.

Andrew’s practice focuses on the early and thorough evaluation of lawsuits, followed by the swift implementation of expert-driven strategies to resolve commercial disputes, third-party liability claims, construction conflicts, arbitrations, and other critical issues facing Texas businesses. He is frequently retained in the earliest stages of a loss—often before litigation begins—to lead investigations into catastrophic injury cases, including those involving fatal outcomes and multilayered insurance coverage.

His litigation experience spans high-stakes property and commercial loss disputes, personal injury cases involving trucking accidents, industrial and machinery-related injuries, oil and gas rig incidents, fires and explosions, and construction defect disputes. Andrew’s courtroom success is reinforced by his deep understanding of Texas venues, exposure assessment, and strategic risk mitigation.

In recent years, Andrew has developed a specialized focus on evaluating complex traumatic brain injury claims, managing arbitrations, and employing aggressive motion practice to shape litigation outcomes. He regularly collaborates with sophisticated experts and evaluates complex damage models to drive early, efficient case resolution.

Clients consistently rely on Andrew’s clarity, precision, and results-driven approach to navigate challenging legal landscapes—making him a trusted advisor in high-risk, high-value disputes.
