William McMichael
William McMichael is a trial lawyer who focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. His representative experience involves advocating on behalf of primary and excess insurance carriers in front of courts and industry regulators across the nation, including in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, California, Florida, Missouri, North Dakota, Utah, and Vermont.
In addition to his first-party insurance litigation practice, McMichael helps represent a variety of clients in complex matters throughout the State of Texas.
Prior to joining MDJW, McMichael graduated with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and then went on to graduate with Special Distinction from Baylor Law School. While at Baylor Law, McMichael served as a member of the Baylor Barrister Society and the Baylor National Mock Trial Team. His prowess as an advocate earned him the title of “Mad Dog,” an honor reserved for the top trial advocate in each class at Baylor Law School.
