Jeffrey M. Smith
Mr. Smith is an Associate with significant experience in commercial and residential real estate litigation involving claims for violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), breach of contract, negligence, title disputes, and Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) complaints. He frequently represents clients in commercial and residential construction litigation involving claims for construction defects, breach of contract, violations of the DTPA, negligence, and mechanics’ liens. Mr. Smith also has significant experience in complex commercial, professional malpractice, insurance, employment, and tort litigation in district and county courts as well as in arbitration.
While in law school, Mr. Smith was a member of South Texas College of Law’s Board of Advocates and mock trial team and interned with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office for over two years.
Mr. Smith is a passionate advocate in his practice, committed to meeting his clients’ needs, and achieving a successful outcome in even the most difficult and complex disputes.
