Cesar Escalante
Cesar Escalante is an associate who practices in various areas of civil litigation. His practice includes representing employers on various employment issues, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, covenants not to compete, misappropriation of trade secrets, and breach of employment agreements and contracts. In addition to his labor & employment practice, Escalante also represents clients on insurance disputes, real estate transactions, and construction defects. He has prevailed on several summary judgment motions with respect to first and third-party insurance claims, as well as real estate disputes. Along with his experience in the courtroom, Escalante has also advocated on behalf of his clients at the arbitration level.
Prior to joining MDJW, Escalante graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he was a member of South Texas’ acclaimed advocacy program. During his advocacy career at South Texas, Escalante won a national advocacy championship, and won speaking and brief awards.
